Havana Club wanted to restore the Mojito’s values as a traditional Cuban cocktail and strengthen Havana Club 3 Anos’ association with the drink. We created a pop up bar that showcased the way a true Mojito should be made – the Havana Club Mojito Embassy.

Toured around capital cities in Europe, the Havana Club Mojito Embassy was an immersive experience where guests could learn how to make an authentic Mojito whilst enjoying contemporary Cuban entertainment.

Centred around a rustic Cuban marketplace, the Embassy’s ‘Mojito Market’ formed the heart of the ‘DIY Mojito’ experience, where guests picked their own ingredients and were taught to make real Mojitos by talented mixologists.

A traditional Cuban ‘Cantinero’ bar served guests professionally made Mojitos, there was an entertainment area for Cuban performers and a shop to buy everything needed to make quality Mojitos at home. The guest experience was completed with Mojito Embassy ‘passports’ – containing cocktail recipes, mint seed packets, growing tips and a guide to the best local bars for Mojitos.

We created a full toolkit and all assets for markets to activate locally, supporting all activations. The Embassy itself was a kit of bespoke parts, delivered to markets and constructed by the global team, whilst the toolkit contained a robust amplification plan with Mojito Embassy collateral, bespoke microsite including ticketing functionality and PR ideas.
