M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment hires Heavyweights in Strategy & Creative

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment boosts offer with heavyweight strategic and creative hires. Former Pablo & Rankin creative director, Ronaldo Tavares, joins as Executive Creative Director, alongside Kim Walker, formerly at Brooklyn Brothers and Harbour, who now joins as Head of Strategy. They will report into joint MDs, Jodie Fullagar & Richard Barker.

The agency is delivering its strongest year to date, having won numerous pieces of new business including Barclays, Barclaycard, Absolut and significant organic growth within the agency’s existing client roster including Heineken, adidas & Ballantine’s. The joint leadership appointment signals the agency’s continued commitment to delivering cutting-edge creative work.

Tavares has led creative teams at agencies across the globe including DDB Brazil, McCann London, Fallon London, and Pablo. He has led global campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands including Nespresso, MasterCard, Mercedes, Honda, Skoda and Deliveroo. Walker joins from Harbour where she was a Strategic Partner, prior to which she was Joint Head of Strategy at Brooklyn Brothers for six years. She brings a deep keel of brand experience to the world of passions including client-side roles as category planner at both Bacardi and Mars.
