Ballantine’s Scotch whisky have made a major push into engaging younger drinkers into the category through music. But their Limited Edition gift packaging traditionally focused on classical Scottish & whisky imagery, which doesn’t resonate with a more design conscious, discerning music fan.
Music-related packaging often defaults to hideous clichés. Amps, decks, speakers; the lazy assumption – simple minded shoppers require simple design. Our approach? We treated the packaging like album artwork. Working with renowned sleeve designer Leif Podhajsky we reimagined traditional whisky imagery & created something unmissable.
3 stunning packs in Leif’s uniquely abstract style, plus a very limited edition, 3D printed case created exclusively for the French Market.
