Bring to life Barclaycard’s role as headline sponsor across live music events to drive awareness and brand relevancy within these spaces.

The Idea

With the aim to make Barclaycard synonymous with live entertainment we ‘Amp’d up’ a whole summer of activations with Live Nation festivals and Capital FM’s Summertime ball.

We did this by being dialling up the anticipation for live music moments through surprise and delight secret sets, star studded performances and perks – making all the moments in between as memorable as the main event.

At Capital’s Summertime Ball got over 90 thousand fans dancing, whether it be at the Barclaycard Dance Booth on their way to the stadium or in Wembley arena alongside Tiktokers Brookie and Jessie, even getting some budding dancers on the big screen for a true ‘fan cam’ moment.

While at at Isle of Wight and Latitude Festival we didn’t just treat customers to the best view in the house of the main stage on the Barclaycard Lookout, we delivered 19 amazing secret sets on the Barclaycard Amp Stage, from the likes of Sam Ryder, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Ed Gamble and Lightning Seeds. All teased and dropped on socials through a variety of clues driving fans wild in the process as they tried to guess the next act.  And then livestreaming a day of secret sets from Latitude to Tiktok Live and the Outernet. Taking the festival and Amp Stage experience beyond the festival gates.

Ultimately making an Amp’d up summer with Barclaycard, unmissable.
