O2 Touch Tour

Simple

During England’s biggest ever year of rugby, O2 wanted to harness the power of grassroots support and get more people playing O2 Touch. The O2 Touch Tour was born.

Creative

The O2 Touch Tour took to the road staging four events in Loughborough, Bath, Manchester and London. Activities and entertainment were provided for all ages and abilities, from the O2 Touch Tournaments, to taster sessions for first-timers and games for spectators and little ones.

To inspire both current players and those new to the sport, we brought inspirational rugby legend Jonny Wilkinson on board as our ambassador. Social assets featuring Jonny were created to appeal to the 18-30 audience, including GIF’s and a cinemograph of Jonny showcasing his rugby skills.

Jonny wasn’t the only star to join the O2 Touch Tour. Special guests helped add to the experience, with TV presenter Vernon Kay as our host and current and ex-England players joining us on every leg of the tour. They included Jason Robinson, Mark Cueto, Jonathan Joseph and Alex Corbisiero, and Women’s Rugby World Cup winners Emily Scarratt, Rochelle Clarke and Sarah Hunter.
