For the official launch of the Spotify App, we recruited chart-topping singer/songwriter Labrinth, known as an innovator within music, as part of our global launch strategy.
Labrinth was one of the very first to get his hands on the brand new product, enabling him to advocate the app with insight and credibility. We created stylised video and image content, seeded via both Spotify and Labrinth’s social channels, and worked closely with artist management and the record label to ensure an authentic tone of voice.
We placed interviews with key entertainment media as part of our management of the global announcement, creating headline coverage around the launch.
